Court Update – 23 April 2025
National Criminal Lawyers® provides the following procedural update regarding the ongoing criminal appeal involving Frank Zumbo, heard before Judge Woodburn at John Maddison Tower District Court on 23 April 2025.
The matter was listed in Courtroom 13A, with Mr. Moussa, principal of National Criminal Lawyers appearing for the appellant and Mr. Croner representing the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The court noted that judgment is not yet ready, with Judge Woodburn still considering and reviewing the substantial volume of material filed by both parties and the original proceedings. As such, the matter has been adjourned to 27 June 2025 at 2:00pm for mention only. It is anticipated that at this mention, the Court will set a further date for the delivery of judgment.
